Meet Laura at DogFest Los Angeles (6/2)

June 2, 2018, 8:30 am–12:00 pm
Hosted by Canine Companions for Independence

Open to the public.

Dominguez Park
200 Flagler Lane, Redondo Beach, CA 90277

If you invite an author to Dogfest, she’ll definitely say “yes!”
She’ll be so happy she’ll call all her friends. (Even her dentist!)
Then she’ll post it on Facebook.
If she posts it on Facebook then she’ll Tweet about it, put it on Instagram, and a gazillion kinds of other social media.
When it gets on social media, she’ll start getting replies!
Replies that people say they’re coming will make her so excited she’ll probably faint.
If she faints she might not remember to write it down in her appointment book.
The next day she’ll check this page and see that not only is she going but she’s also the Honorary Chairman.
She’ll be so happy.
And, chances are
If she’s so happy
She’ll want to call all her friends. (But, not her dentist!)

I am so excited you have chosen to have this story told to children by such a popular children’s author and illustrator. She is one of my favorites.

How do I reach you to ask about employing your book “if you give a mouse a cookie” into and advocacy campaign. I have found that your book always draws a smile and you descriptions and clarity explain our issue better than anything else.
